Three-Inch Thick Paver Designs Available in the Opus Romano,
French Versailles, Roman Romano, and Rome Opus Patterns

The Opus Romano pattern is known by a number of different names, as is illustrated above. To complicate matters more, there are three-size and four-size patterns. The four-size pattern is the more common European version, but the three-size is gaining in popularity. See the sizes below. 

You can pour concrete to have a smooth finished surface with a slight pillow edge, or a Travertine technique can be used to make concrete tiles, patio pavers and driveway pavers with the rough (or smooth) texture of Travertine stone. You can control the number and sizes of holes somewhat, as well as the depression sizes and locations on the face of the surface.
